Does not work when Adober Reader add-on is disabled

description

This code stops working when the Adobe Reader add-on is disabled in Internet Explorer. It throws unhandled exception during InitializeComponent. Is there any workaround? Is there a way to catch HRESULT E_FAIL exception? It is thrown regardles on any code that is written in C#, as I see it and it is WinForms exception.
This is a serious problem and prevents this control from being used at all.
Update: the problems arrived appearently with Acrobat Reader version XI. Until X it was possible to set it in Acrobat Reader settings.
